Manthey GT3 RS Rear-View Camera Kit

The Manthey aero conversion swaps the 992 GT3 RS rear glass for a carbon panel and fin. Great for downforce. Terrible for seeing what’s behind you on the street.

This kit puts a camera back where it belongs — on the centreline, beneath the fin — with a clean cable path and a view straight down the middle of the car. Inside, the rear view shows on a mirror display that fits the car’s factory mirror mount through a custom adapter. The OEM mount and shroud stay as they are.

Designed from the car itself

Every surface was designed against 3D scan data of the actual rear deck lid and its relationship to the central fin. The housing sits inside the compound curvature of the bodywork, so it reads as part of the car rather than something bolted on afterward.

The design went through 15+ rapid iterations, each manufactured and test-fit on the vehicle, to settle camera angle, section thickness, cable exit, and clearance to the fin.

Made to live outside

The housing is manufactured in glass-fibre reinforced nylon for heat resistance, stiffness, and long-term exterior service, then finished in automotive clear coat for appearance and UV protection. It was designed to handle sustained 250+ km/h speeds, vibration, and direct sun.
